Born in 2009 as an information technology solution provider, when open source shined in the limelight as a means of innovations, we served the client's need to do it right the first time, passionately providing commercial support. This was largely because, "doing things the Maldicore's way" required an endless thirst for improvement, implementation of standards, best practices, managed change and planned evolution over time.

With a humble begining within a Cyber Cafe, a year later we opened the first office space right in the heart of Capital City Male' to expand the software design and development services. Two years later with international client's we expanded the operations to Hulhumale and in 2014 moved back to Male'. 

However, due to economic and political unrest, in 2015 we were forced to take a break, mainly because most of our clients were government agencies. We restarted our operations for a second time with a "Work From Home" model in 2016 and continued until 2020, when Covid-19 called for a second break.

We restarted, for the third time, in 2022 with the entire workspace in the cloud with 90% of the operations conducted in virtual spaces, allowing to easily hire and serve both local and international employees and clients respectively.

In this journey, a decade passed in exploring a right fit practical working model for Maldicore and these explorations has led us fromulating locally customized working methodologies that are both repeatable and scalable.
